Fall/Winter Favorites and must haves!

Since fall is here and winter fast approaches, I thought it'd be a great time to share some of my fall/winter favorites and must haves. Fall and winter are an amazing time to wear my favorite types of clothing - cozy, oversized sweaters, cute scarves, and fun socks.
I LOVE oversized sweaters! Something about wearing them with a cute pair of jeans just makes me feel cozy and cute. The thought of drinking a hot cup of cocoa while sitting on my couch with my cozy sweater and a warm throw, makes me smile and feel all pepperminty inside (Note to self: I gotta make some hot cocoa after this blog post).
My next favorite staple for the fall/winter season are the boots! Ok, I looovveee a good pair of heels (pumps, wedges, sandals, etc) just as much as the next girl, but something about wearing a cute boot that's comfortable, makes my toes and feet happy. There are boots available for everyone's style, comfort, and price level, which is a major plus! If you don't have time to get a pedicure or, let's be real, shave your legs (which we always stay on top of right? *wink*), boots are the perfect solution.
Living in California, especially in the countryside of Northern California during the approaching El Nino (we need some rain for this drought!), makes it very important to own a cute pair of rain boots. The best part is that there are all kinds of different styles and colors for rain boots to match your personal style or your current mood. I personally love a good polka dot rain boot and while I don't tend to dress in super "girly colors," these pink polka dot rain boots are giving me life right now!
Another one of my faves is definitely a good scarf. Scarves were made for girls like me who don't dress super fancy or have the time to spend too much time on their outfit, yet want to elevate what we're wearing. Scarves have a magical ability to help make you look put together. It's the simplest way to spruce up your outfit with minimal effort.
