Get to know me!

Hi! I thought it'd be fun to share some fun facts about myself, so here we go!

-My name is Cristina.

-I love Jesus!

-I am married to the love of my life who also happens to be a chicken farmer.

-I was born and raised in Miami, Fl, but I now live in Northern California.

-I am a mom to an angel baby, 2 dogs (german shepherds) and a cat.

-I am Puerto Rican... Boricua for life!

-I am currently on a fertility journey (I have PCOS).

-I am 1 of 6 kids (2 sisters and 3 brothers).

-My nephews and my niece are the cutest children in the world (trust me).

-I love restoring/revamping old and used furniture.

-As much as I love and admire fashion, a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and some sneakers are my go to pieces almost everyday.

-I love to hike and be outdoors in nature; something about it just makes me feel closer to God.

-I have a weird fear of ferris wheels. I have attempted to go on one 2 times in my life, neither time ended well.

-I also have a fear of roaches. I legit will cry and feel my heart palpitate as I start to sweat.

-I love red nail polish - I think it's a good color all year around.

-I used to hate my lips when I was a little girl because I thought they were too big, but now I embrace them.

-My mom is my best friend.

-My little sister is my hero (I will write a post about why).

-I am extremely opinionated and direct.

-Being blunt has gotten me in trouble so many times! 

-Latinas are crazy (I'm no exception, I just like to say I'm just spicy...just ask my husband or any man dating or married to a Latina, haha).

-I truly believe women should empower each other, not break each other down.

-I love being independent, and a strong woman. But I also like to be a wife and take care of my husband. There is nothing wrong with being both.

-I think women can do it all (though sometimes it's nice having a husband to do some of the hard, "manly" things around the house).

-Life is way too short to care about what other people think or what people want you to do. The only opinion that matters is what you think of yourself and what you want for yourself.

-Remember the choices you make in life will affect YOU!

-I am a coffee addict.

-I secretly love reality TV. I find it very relaxing and entertaining.

- I love 90's R&B and Hip Hop.

- I love food! (it makes me so happy).

- I am really excited to start this blog to hopefully share and empower other people to live a life full of love, joy, compassion, and transparency.
